July 17, 1997 ~~ President Clinton addressed measures to protect children from obscene materials on the Internet, and emphasized that although the Justice Department is increasing the number of investigators assigned to child pornography and obscenity units, "We must recognize in the end that the responsibility for our children's safety will rest largely with their parents."
